SUMMARY: Event Fencing Installation - Protect Our Trees!
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:In December of 2022, 300 evergreen trees were planted at Lake Stickney Park! Now the new trees are battling the resurging weeds, primarily ivy. Come join Healthy Forest Project staff to save some trees from the weeds. Volunteers can expect to cut back and remove weeds, find and flag new plantings, and build fencing around trees in high traffic areas. Your contribution will keep the trees thriving, leading to a healthier forest for everyone.
