SUMMARY: Event Weeding at Steamshovel Trail - Lord Hill Regional Park
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:We're starting with a small, former patch of blackberries at Lord Hill to start building a healthy forest! Join Healthy Forest Project staff and other volunteers to clear blackberries off the Steamshovel Trail at Lord Hill. Blackberry bushes have created large, dense thickets that displace the native forest plants and the animals that rely on them. Clearing blackberry and other weeds is the first step to creating a healthier forest for all to enjoy at Lord Hill! 

When we plant here this winter, we'll create a patch of healthier forest to expand over time, but we need your help. For more information, contact the organizer.
