Lake Stickney - Lake Stickney Restoration Party11/19/2022

Activities

The Healthy Forest Project is doing a big restoration project at Lake Stickney this fall! A professional crew will be out removing tons of ivy and blackberry, but there's still plenty of work for us to do as well in support of the project. Join us as we remove introduced weeds like blackberry and ivy in preparation for planting native conifer trees in December. Removing these weeds will clear space for native plants to come in naturally or be planted, so that we can make sure this forest stays here and stays healthy!
