McCollum Park Lunch Hour Planting PartyDecember 11, 12pm-1pm @ McCollum Park The Healthy Forest Project is partnering with Evergreen Carbon Capture to perform a restoration project this winter at McCollum Pioneer Park. Volunteers have been removing introduced weeds like ivy and blackberry to create space for the planting of new conifer trees. This work will help support a healthy forest, neighborhood and watershed. On November 18th, partners from Color and Seattle Children's Hospital planted 70 trees. Help us plant 30 more trees over your lunch break. more |
